Prof B.T.Lakshman

Our Founder Chairman Prof. Bangalore T Lakshman was born in 1934 in a modest family with rural background. His inherent intellect with determination has made him work extremely hard to become Civil Engineer in 1959. He pursued ME at University of Roorkee(Presently Indian Institute of Technology) and MS(Civil Engineering) at University of Delawaer, USA. He has been an eminent engineer at Artesian water company Inc, USA for 22 Years and reached highest position as Chief Engineer.

His own struggle in early days of life acted as intrinsic motivation to reach the needy and help them to uplift their lives. Towards this mission Prof. B.T. Lakshman has been contributing half of his earnings all through his career. He was elected as Rotory Governer, Delavare in the year 1992. Since he was the first Indian to be elected to such a coveted position he took early retirement to devote his full time for the cause of service to the humanity. He dedicated his entire time and resources to "BTL Foundation for International Services, USA" and BTL Education Trust for Rural Development, India" founded by him in 1980 which are doing yeoman services in the field of health and education.

On the eve of the Founder Chairman's Birth day on 8th June,  BTL Institutions celebrates Founder's Day by Honouring &  Recognising Employees contributions to the Trust.
